We will officially reopen on SATURDAY 1ST AUGUST!
Initially, we will only be opening the skatepark areas, for park users and a maximum of one parent/guardian per user where necessary. There will be no toilets, Café services or seating areas available to use during the first phase of opening.
Due to new government guidelines, park users are required to book before attending the skatepark. We will be releasing a timetable of 2 hour slots which will be available for booking next week. The first session will be on Saturday 1st August. Please note, day and month passes will not be available for the time being.
There will be a staggered return in regards to coaching sessions and the opening of the facilities, we will keep you updated with each of these as and when we have more information.
COVID-19 We ask all park users to follow social distancing guidelines and wash and sanitise their hands regularly. There will be a sanitising station signposted in the park. We will also have a new capacity for sessions of 35 users. Users will also be required to provide details for the NHS track and trace programme.
PARK USERS Park users will only be allowed in the skatepark for their booked 2 hour slot and will be required to leave promptly when that time slot is up, so the Projekts team can clean the park ready for the next session.
PARENT/GUARDIANS A maximum of one parent/guardian is permitted to accompany a park user, where necessary. There will be a designated seating area for parents and guardians to sit. Social distancing practices must be followed. We encourage people who are not physically using the skatepark to wear a face covering.
BOOKING SYSTEM Due to government guidance, we will be running our sessions through an online booking system. We will release more details about the booking system, timetable and prices in the coming days.
COACHING For the first week back, at least, there will be no coaching sessions taking place at the skatepark. We will provide further updates when we are going to open bookings for coaching sessions.
We can however, still run private lessons. If this is something you may be interested in, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
EQUIPMENT HIRE Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will not be offering equipment for hire. We encourage everyone to bring their own equipment. This includes helmets, and we remind users that all participants aged 16 and under are required to wear helmets when using the skatepark, unless a disclaimer is signed by a parent or guardian.
We have skateboards, protective equipment and helmets for sale in our shop, which can be found via our website. You can order it online and then make a note to collect it either prior to, or at your booked session.
We will release more information regarding when the coaching sessions will be back up and running and what new measures have been put in place ASAP.
All of this information is subject to change and we will continue to keep you updated at the earliest opportunity.
We are really excited to open our doors once again! Hopefully we will be back, better than ever, with our full range of services soon, but until then, we invite you to come and enjoy a skate in the incredible new skatepark!
Thank you for your continued patience and enthusiasm to come back, we really appreciate all of your support.
If you have any questions, please email email@example.com, otherwise, keep an eye open for more updates SOON!
